There are 1.8 million Veterans in Texas. 1 in 4 of them have invisible wounds from service. Approximately 10% of Texas inmates are Veterans.
Invisible wounds include: insomnia, substance abuse, chronic pain, traumatic brain injury, moral injury

Our Healing Herd is at the heart of our mission, providing crucial support and therapy for veterans facing a wide range of challenges. These incredible animals are essential to our work, offering a unique path to healing and hope.
The cost to care for a single horse in our herd is approximately $1,200 per month. This covers everything they need to stay healthy and happy, including: Feed & Grain, Veterinary Care, Farrier Services, Supplements, Board & Stable Care, and lots of TLC!
